Evaluation
Your steps for evaluation make a lot of sense. I like that you train the teacher first, survey, then evaluate. I think we make much more headway as teachers if we get the proper help to get started. Peer evaluation, both at the student and teacher level, makes a lot of sense as well. I think that oftentimes our peers have much more influence on our performance than our superiors. You might also include for the teacher, evaluation by the students. I believe it is very important to know what your audience thinks!

MRST High School Science Department - Technology Evaluation Metrics
The Department head of the Science program is responsible for evaluating the use of technology in department lessons.
This is how we will evaluate both our students and teachers:
Department of Science - Teachers evaluation
I. Evaluate teachers knowledge of technology.
A. Provide training on how to use the technology.
B. Administer a survey to gauge teacher comfort with and confidence of technology.
C. Administer evaluation to ensure teachers have required skills to use technology effectively.
Department of Science - Student evaluation
I. Department head evaluates students at their stations at the Science Fair.
II. Students will find two other people to evaluate their project and will submit names of the persons evaluating them to the department head before the science fair.
III. Faculty volunteers, students and parents will complete a survey that rates how successful the students are in integrating the technology into their presentations and will judge to see if the presentation are enhanced by the use of technology.

The State Street Foundation offers grants year round on a rolling basis. There is no application deadline. One of the Foundation's priorities is to support educational programs that "

Intel Community Grants
Intel supports the communities in which it has a presence through a Community Grant program. The primary funding priority of the program is to support K-12 educational programs that advance math, science, and technology learning.
The school / program must be located in an area where Intel has a presense. In the US, it must be in: Arizona, California, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, or Washington.

Federal Computers for Learning
Computers for learning is a Federal Government program that works to transfer surplus computer equipment and peripherals from Federal government departments and agencies to public school districts.
